What You'll Do As an Inventory Control Specialist, you'll be responsible for maintaining and monitoring day-to-day inventory transactions, including receiving, storing, issuing, and auditing inventory. You'll support purchasing, shipping, and receiving functions while helping ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
In this role, you will:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through physical counts and cycle counts
  • Monitor and improve inventory management procedures
  • Implement and maintain Kanban processes for critical raw materials, finished goods, and work in progress (WIP)
  • Work closely with department managers to determine inventory requirements
  • Monitor actual and forecasted customer demand using ERP/MRP systems
  • Recommend and maintain min/max inventory levels and Kanban targets
  • Prepare inventory reports and recommendations for management
  • Assist with receiving, labeling, and properly storing incoming inventory
  • Monitor vendor-managed inventory (VMI) for proper allocation and part mix
  • Pull inventory for sales orders and stage materials for shipping
  • Support packaging and shipping activities as needed
  • Process returns in a timely manner
  • Cross-train with purchasing and shipping/receiving teams
  • Support Lean manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, and RIE activities

Requirements
What We're Looking For We're seeking a detail-oriented inventory professional with strong analytical skills and experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate of Applied Science degree preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents including bills of materials
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
  • Ability to work on-site at the Henderson facility

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous inventory, warehouse, or shipping/receiving experience
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Experience with inventory audits, cycle counts, and Kanban systems
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment

Your Schedule
This is a full-time, non-exempt position working Monday through Friday. Some schedule flexibility may be required based on operational needs.
