Job description

Battery Outfitters is looking for a Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver to provide excellent customer service and warehouse inventory control for our location in Tyler Texas. Candidates with strong communication skills, along with those that practice an attention to detail philosophy, will stand out.

We are also a company that values our team members, treating each with the same respect and appreciation as the valued customers that we service every day. As a Warehouse Associate you must be customer focused to insure that the experience at every stop exceeds the expectations.

Additionally, you may be responsible for day to day delivery sales, collection of cores, and inventory of customer’s batteries. Candidates MUST HAVE a valid drivers license.

Warehouse duties include: order pick, deliver orders to customers, load and unload trucks, process and recycle product and restocking product. This job involves heavy lifting and operation of forklift and manual pallet jack.

Responsibilities

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)

Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits

Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization

Complete diary logs into inventory

Report any discrepancies

Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers

Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment

Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Skills

Proven working experience as a warehouse worker

Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems

Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

Good organizational and time management skills

Ability to lift heavy objects

Current forklift license and drivers license desired/required

High school diploma
