Job description

The Inventory Control position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock movement, performing cycle counts, and supporting warehouse operations. This role helps ensure products are received, stored, picked, shipped, and counted accurately while helping reduce shortages, overages, damages, and inventory discrepancies.


Key Responsibilities
• Track incoming and outgoing inventory to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Perform daily, weekly, and scheduled cycle counts as assigned.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
• Verify product locations, quantities, labels, and item numbers in the warehouse management system.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and returns as needed.
• Identify damaged, missing, misplaced, or incorrect inventory and report issues to management.
• Maintain clean, organized, and accurate inventory storage areas.
• Use scanners, computers, reports, and warehouse systems to update inventory information.
• Support inventory audits and help prepare reports for supervisors or management.
• Follow company safety procedures, warehouse policies, and inventory control standards.


Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
