Job description

The Inventory Control Coordinator coordinates inventory control tracking, returns, and documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Process all purchase orders as per Rush Policies and forward to Corporate Central Purchasing and/or Accounts Payable.
  • Monitor all POs to ensure that items are still on backorder for POs aged 30+ days.
  • Verify accuracy of all incoming packing slips and posting records.
  • Conduct cycle counts on at least 115 parts per day along with the Warehouse Supervisor and other parts personnel as needed.
  • Maintain incoming return items and ensure that customers get credit in a timely manner.
  • Maintain all junk core inventories and ensure that all cores are returned as often as possible.
  • Coordinate with the Warranty Administrator and warehouse personnel to return all warranty parts in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all claims on any damaged parts with the vendor or freight carrier are claimed within 24 hours, shortages with the vendor or freight carrier within 24 hours, and claims with vendors for any shortages or hidden damage within 14 days.
  • Handle all inventory pricing, billing, and return issues with Corporate and local personnel.
