Job Description Position Overview: The Sr. Warehouse Manager oversees all aspects of materials receipt, storage, and distribution across multiple facilities. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensure accurate inventory control, and drive process improvements to support operational excellence and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Warehouse & Inventory Management Oversee daily warehouse operations and inventory control for multiple sites. Supervise, coach, and train warehouse associates on proper material handling, storage procedures, and identification methods. Prioritize incoming and outgoing shipments to meet business needs and maintain workflow efficiency.

Review Material Test Reports (MTRs) and maintain traceability of critical materials. Execute 5S and other workplace organization activities to maintain a clean, safe environment. Safety & Compliance Identify, report, and address all safety hazards within the warehouse.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as corporate policies for purchasing and subcontracting. Maintain warehouse accessibility and safety standards to support sales and operations teams. Operational Excellence Participate in Lean/Kaizen, Six Sigma Black Belt, and other continuous-improvement initiatives.

Perform regular metrics reporting and data analysis to identify bottlenecks, trends, and opportunities for process optimization. Implement corrective actions to drive productivity gains, reduce waste, and decrease operational costs. Financial Management Prepare and manage the annual warehouse budget-schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and recommend cost-control measures.

Monitor inventory valuation and turnover rates, identifying opportunities to improve working capital. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with procurement, quality, and logistics teams to streamline purchasing, receiving, and distribution processes. Coordinate with sales and customer-service groups to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate shipment tracking.

Additional Duties Handle special projects or assignments as required by leadership. Job Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating procedures, maintenance instructions, and technical manuals. Proven leadership skills: ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team of 3-15 employees.

Deep understanding of inventory management principles and control systems (e.g., cycle counts, ABC analysis). Excellent written communication for preparing reports, correspondence, and performance metrics. Competence in negotiating contract terms and interpreting complex regulations or policies related to warehousing and logistics

Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Education & Training: Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field

Working knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping regulations. Minimum Requirements: 6+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. 6+ years of hands-on experience with factory or warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.

Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal) for clear communication with internal teams and external partners. Proficiency with warehouse ERP systems and basic MS Office applications. Demonstrated experience with international shipping processes and documentation.

Preferred Requirements: Professional certification such as APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Project Management (PMP). Prior involvement in Lean or Six Sigma projects (e.g., Black Belt, Green Belt) within a warehouse or operations environment.
