We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and optimize inventory processes within our operations. This role ensures accurate tracking of raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progress items, supporting production efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems. 
  • Perform routine cycle counts and comprehensive physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory trends and forecast demand to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of materials. 
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory variances in a timely manner to support operational efficiency and minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and production teams to forecast inventory needs. 
  • Support shipping and receiving activities, including verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders. 
  • Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of aluminum materials and products.
  • Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
  • Support compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, or invoice discrepancies.
  • Performs other appropriate duties as requested.
Physical Requirements: 
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and performing tasks in a warehouse environment.
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Ability to climb ladders or step stools and work at heights when necessary.
  • Speech and hearing sufficient for in person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly.
Required Skills/Abilities: 
  • Bi-lingual fluent in English and Spanish required.
  • Fundamental understanding of inventory management.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills. 
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent time management skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
 Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience in inventory & purchasing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with aluminum or metal product inventory preferred but not required.
