Job description

A Warehouse/Inventory Associate is responsible for various warehouse activities, including but not limited to receiving, sorting, loading, tracking, storing and unloading products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items in the appropriate locations.

  • Process, package, and ship orders accurately while ensuring that all inventory is organized and maintained properly.

  • Inspect products for defects and damages, and examine incoming and outgoing shipments to verify the accuracy of the orders.

  • Perform regular and accurate inventory counts to maintain accurate product levels

  • Check, verify, and fill orders while strictly adhering to all company safety regulations.

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space to ensure safety and efficiency.

  • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures, and ensure that inventory is properly labeled.

  • Be capable of lifting heavy packages as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Warehouse or inventory experience preferred

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Basic math skills to ensure accurate inventory counts


Physical Demands/Requirements:

  • Vision: Must have the ability to see and distinguish colors, read schematics, blueprints, and labels, and identify equipment faults and wiring issues.

  • Stamina: Must have the physical stamina to work long shifts, including overtime or weekend work, if needed.

  • Work Environment: Work may be performed in noisy, hot, cold, or humid environments and may require exposure to electrical hazards, confined spaces, or heights.

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Frequent): Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection, as dictated by safety standards.
