Job description

Red Rentals is a key driver behind the success of our clients, providing what they need, when they need it. We supply all of our jobsites with tools, equipment and supplies to build buildings, while also maintaining equipment to ensure it's ready when needed. Safety is paramount across all our site locations and within our daily warehouse operations.


Position Summary


The Warehouse Associate supports construction operations by ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are accurately received, organized, stored, and distributed to project sites. You'll play a key part in maintaining efficient field operations by keeping the warehouse safe, orderly, and well-stocked, and supporting timely deliveries to internal project teams and sites. You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor as well as take direction from the shop Foreman. You have the keen ability to follow instructions and operate in an orderly manner within a fast-paced environment.


This role is based in Port Kells (Surrey), BC.


As a Warehouse Associate your key accountabilities will involve:


  • Preparing outgoing deliveries and shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Manual labour including loading and unloading trucks safely using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment (training/certification provided as required).
  • Receiving, tracking, labelling, and storing merchandise and equipment in an accessible manner.
  • Inspecting inventory, including equipment returning from site, for damage and faults.
  • Assisting with cycle counts and audits.
  • Keeping warehouse areas clean, safe, and organized in compliance with Ventana and safety standards.
  • Assisting with upkeep of inventory, including basic inspections, arranging repairs, and washing equipment.
  • Supporting with other warehouse duties as required.

As a Warehouse Associate your experience and qualifications will include:

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • A valid Class 5 Drivers License.
  • Experience as general labourer, preferably in a warehouse setting.
  • Ability to operate forklift is an asset.
  • Ability to lift at least 55lbs and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain solid attendance.
  • Availability to work extended hours as required.
