Summary:
The warehouse associate's responsibility is to pull materials for orders, the assemble and pack them for delivery. Coordinate with Logistics and update the MRP system. They are responsible to maintain and document equipment, supervise incoming and outgoing shipments and update stock records to ensure availability of items.

Job Duties:

  • Using the SDCB forklift, load, unload, and identify materials, machinery and tools, and distribute them to the appropriatelocations according to warehouse plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with stake holders such as sales, logistics and attached departments to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure the warehouse is in an orderly manner.
  • Inventory, both cycle and annual inventory counts
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2 - 3 years' experience required with warehouse, logistics and inventory environments.
  • 2- 3 years with an MRP system and have experience in a computerized environment.
  • 3 - years Sit-Down Counterbalance Forklift Experience
  • Must speak, read and write English.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in BC for any employer
  • Self-starter
  • Strong time management and customer service skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Follow all warehouse safety rules

Work Conditions:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday morning/days availability
  • Ability to walk, drive stand, bend, and reach for long periods of time.

  • Fast paced work environment with quickly changing priorities
  • Overtime as required
  • May have to go our other locations in Richmond to assist.
