POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES

KettenWulf seeks a  Material Handler/Shipping to join the growing U.S. subsidiary of KettenWulf, based in Auburn, AL. This role is responsible for coordinating all processes and activities related to shipping, receiving, and handling inventory before and after production.  This role will work closely with our production department in Auburn as well as with our logistics departments in Atlanta and our international locations in Germany and China. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Picking semi-finished parts from stock and bringing to work areas.  Taking finished product from production areas to final preparation and packing for shipping. 
  • Preparing packing lists, freight bills, and occasionally export documents
  • Coordinating freight shipping and receiving by communicating internally within inside sales and purchasing departments as well as logistics providers (trucking companies, freight forwarders)
  • Completing incoming goods inspections and reporting missing items or damages
  • Maintain orderly warehouse and sufficient stock of supplies as required for warehouse operations.

Job requirements

  • Experience in a warehouse or shipping office in a manufacturing company or similar operation
  • Valid certificate for 5000lb. sit-down forklift or similar.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; SAP experience desired, other ERP program experience beneficial.
  • Ability to safely and repeatedly lift 50lbs is required
  • Reliable transportation and ability to pass background check and drug screening
