What do our Warehouse Associates do?

The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for daily operations in the Target distribution center. Their duties include maintaining the warehouse, assisting with loading and unloading trucks, and making customer deliveries. This role is directly involved in all phases of warehouse operations, including customer service, inventory management, customer interaction, and general warehouse activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform warehouse operations including local deliveries, inventory management, order entry, and vendor shipping/receiving

  • Count, compare, check and inspect quantities of materials and products for distribution to customers

  • Complete one or more warehouse functions within the guidelines of the facility (pick, pack, wrap, load and possibly assist with delivering orders for our customers)

  • Take inventory; document and invoice orders and product movement

  • Submit weekly, monthly and yearly reports, as required

Essential Job Functions:

  • Receiving and processing shipments

  • Operate warehouse equipment (forklift and overhead crane)

  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs loading and unloading products

  • Picking and packing orders

  • Inventory Management

  • Loading and unloading

  • Adhering to safety protocols

What do you need?

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence

  • At least two years of warehouse or customer service experience

  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and weekends when needed

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

  • Excellent organization and time management skills

Base Pay Range

Hourly: $18.00 - $25.00

While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).
