Accredo Packaging, Inc. manufactures and supplies sustainable high value added, flexible packaging, predominantly for the pre-packaged foods and consumer products markets in North America. We achieve state of the art, environmentally responsible, flexible packaging conversions by combining the best people in the industry with the latest available technologies. We are currently seeking a Baler Operator (Night Shift) for our Sugar Land, Texas facility.
Pay rate: $15.00 an hour plus a $2.00 shift differential for working nights.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
• Complies with established safety policies and procedures crating 7-10 bales per shift.
• Accurately weighing waste bales and recording bale weights. on bale tallies
• Obtaining waste loads from production areas as directed, feeding waste into the bailing machine.
• Work with returned goods
• Daily cleaning includes cleaning the area around the baler, cleaning the baler box, behind the ram following safety practices.
• Daily blowing off or vacuuming the baler exterior and daily sweeping the baler room floor.
• Performs other related duties as directed by warehouse management.

The ideal candidate shall possess the following:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic math skills required. Must pass the New Hire Base Assessment Test, which measures basic arithmetic and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read, write and speak in the English language to the extent necessary to effectively communicate and interpret instructions.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience operating a baler machine.
• 12-hour shift work experience required.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.

Will be required to take a background and drug screen.
