As our business continues to grow, we're looking for reliable, dependable, and safety-minded individuals who take pride in supporting an efficient warehouse operation and delivering an exceptional client experience.

As a Warehouse - Baler (Luxury), you'll play an important role in supporting the efficient flow of warehouse operations by safely operating industrial baling equipment and processing recyclable packaging materials. Your work helps keep materials moving efficiently while supporting the teams responsible for receiving, fulfillment, and shipping.

This is a full-time onsite position working at our Distribution Center in Maspeth, Queens.


What You'll Do

Material Processing

  • Safely operate industrial baler equipment to compress cardboard, plastic, and other recyclable materials.
  • Load recyclable materials into the baler while ensuring prohibited items are not included.
  • Tie, eject, and stage completed bales for pickup or recycling.
  • Monitor baler performance and promptly report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns.

Warehouse Support

  • Collect recyclable materials from designated warehouse areas.
  • Assist with general warehouse responsibilities as business needs require.
  • Help maintain clear, organized work areas surrounding baling operations to support a safe and efficient workflow.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and established lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety shoes, and eye protection.
  • Immediately report hazards, unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, or incidents.
  • Participate in required equipment and safety training.
  • Demonstrate Moda's core Values in every aspect of your work.

What You'll Bring

Experience

  • Previous warehouse or equipment operation experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience in apparel, retail, distribution, or luxury goods is preferred, but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Ability to work safely around forklifts, industrial baling equipment, and other warehouse machinery.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining safe work practices.

Professional Appearance

  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance while on duty.
  • Wear closed-toe footwear appropriate for warehouse operations.
  • Follow all company safety and dress code guidelines.

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Schedule may include weekends, evenings, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Additional hours, including overtime, may be required during peak business periods to support operational needs.

Compensation

$17.00-$22.00 per hour, based on experience.
