Job description

Warehouse Associate

At Power-Flo Technologies, you'll be part of a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse environment that plays a critical role in keeping electrical and industrial projects moving. As a Warehouse Associate, your work will directly support customers by ensuring materials are accurately picked, safely handled, and delivered on time. Full-Time. Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4 PM.

Salary Range: $16 To $19 Hourly

Warehouse Associate Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic warehouse work to include, removing sold parts from stock, placing received parts on shelves, processing items for shipment, receiving, driving (as needed), organizing etc.
  • Pull and stage orders for shipment
  • Organize Inventory
  • Maintain a clean driver's license to operate company vehicles (on an as needed basis)
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and occasionally operate delivery vehicle
  • Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver orders

Warehouse Associate Requirements:

  • 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
  • Current, valid, and clean NYS driver's license (7 years' clean driving record) to operate company vehicles as needed (no CDL required)
  • Ability to obtain & maintain DOT certification
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull over 100 pounds
  • Ability to follow processes, procedures, and policies
  • Ability to work well independently and on a team, have a great attitude, and be willing to learn
  • Ability to communicate in verbal and written form with functional English skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Forklift experience a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to work on elevated platforms
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • This position may require standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and/or reaching
  • You may be exposed to dust, loud noises, and hot and cold conditions
