Edward Don & Company is Now Hiring Warehouse Associates in The Colony, TXStart at $21.11 per Hour Comprehensive Benefits - Hiring Immediately

  • Starting pay at $21.11 per hour
  • Comprehensive benefits
  • Multiple shift options
  • Sunday - Thursday, 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM or when finished. Up to 4 hours/day of overtime as required
  • Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM or when finished. Up to 4 hours of overtime as required

Essential Duties:

Responsible for receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas. 

  • Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure
  • Load Merchandise into appropriate truck
  • Drop merchandise for "reserve" to "pick" slots
  • Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines
  • Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery
  • Verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy 
  • Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”
  • Identify and report slot and put-away problems
  • Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed
  • Performs house keeping duties as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:
  • Required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must pass a functional capacity test
  • Preferred:
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • 1+ year of warehouse experience
  • Previous forklift certification
  • Material handling equipment experience
  • Reach truck experience
