Job description

JOB SUMMARY

The primary role of this position is to prepare packaging and distribution, properly authorize receipt of delivered goods, and support the warehouse operations duties.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Supports warehouse activities in a cGMP facility such as distributing raw materials, finished goods, equipment, and supplies for production and plant operations.
  • Packages, labels, and wraps goods for appropriate shipment on a daily basis.
  • Assembles goods into boxes, bags and other containers and assembles orders according to proper destinations.
  • Operates forklift, barrel cart, 2 wheel cart, pallet-jack, and electric pallet-jack as needed.
  • Loads trucks according to delivery times and dates.
  • Assures orders and documentation received by designated customer are accurate.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
  • Be able to sign for shipments delivered and inspect for any contamination or damage according to cGMP standards and record appropriately.
  • Must be able to fully operate usable functions in PSI Internal Technology System

  • Mathematical skills- Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Language skills- must be able to read, record and speak the English language.
  • Reasoning ability- must have the ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form.
  • Certifications, Licenses, Registrations- must be able to obtain an industrial powered forklift certification.
  • Must have clear vision from twenty inches to twenty feet and must be able to identify and distinguish colors.
