Warehouse Assistant/Delivery Driver (Full-Time)

Location: Midlothian (Richmond), VA

Companies: Carytown Coffee / Tidewater Coffee

Carytown Coffee is a locally owned and operated specialty roaster based in Richmond, VA, proudly partnered with Tidewater Coffee in Portsmouth. Our mission is simple: to roast the best coffee from farm to cup. We specialize in small-batch, in-house roasting where freshness and craftsmanship are our top priorities.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant/Delivery Driver to join our production team. This is a vital role in our daily operations. We are seeking someone who is willing and able to help out where needed, therefore the day-to-day may vary.

Key Responsibilities

•         Warehouse Assistance: Assist in maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse; i.e. unloading and stocking new shipments.

•         Delivering Product: Ability to pull product and load/unload deliveries to clients in an efficient, professional, and timely manner.

•         Customer Service & Multi-tasking: Assist in the front-of-house by answering phones and taking care of walk-in customers with a friendly, professional attitude.

•         Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace; this includes sweeping, cleaning equipment, and assisting with routine roaster maintenance, etc.

Qualifications & Skills

•         Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50–70 lbs. repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warm production environment.

•         Reliability: Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

•         Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable working with machinery and performing basic troubleshooting (preferred but not required).

•         Professionalism: Strong communication skills for customer interaction and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.

•         Experience: Background in warehouse, delivery driving, food production, or specialty coffee is a plus. Basic computer literacy is helpful.
