Locke Supply Company in Hampton, VA is looking to hire a full-time Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver to play a vital role in making sure all materials arrive at our branch locations in a timely fashion for our customers. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE/Delivery Driver

As a Warehouse Associate, you take pride in keeping the warehouse clean and organized. When it comes to tracking inventory, you are meticulous. Whether it be equipment, parts, or supplies, you know what, when, where, and how. You ensure that our branch locations and customers have what they need by pulling the right plumbing, electrical, or HVAC materials. As products from vendors arrive, you are ready to receive them and organize them properly. As a delivery driver, you will work daily with our customers to ensure that they have an outstanding experience with Locke Supply. The position delivers products to our customers in a timely and safe manner, this role also assists customers in answering questions and advising customers on the supply solutions. If you like that you get to keep busy with a variety of tasks throughout the day. And you find great satisfaction in keeping everything in order, this is a wonderful opportunity with a great company.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a warehouse
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Valid and clean Driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a D.O.T physical and drug test
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance and stand for long periods of time
  • Willing to work in an environment that is not climate-controlled
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer physical job duty test through WorkSteps
