PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION 

Responsible for the sale of new and existing products in a specified region or customer and provides ongoing support to all product distribution channels; Food, Drug, and Mass.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

    • Contribute to the development and successful launch of our new products
    • Adhere to all GMP/GLP requirements
    • Create and implement effective direct sales objectives and lead nationwide sales goals
    • Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.
    • Provide sales budget and forecast management.
    • Manage to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
    • Provide supervision through retail field visits, observations, and measurement of results.
    • Proactively identify changes in retail delivery systems, and competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly.
    • Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies.
    • Partner with distributors, brokers, and buyers - Corporate and Strategic Accounts in the development and maintaining of key customer relationship management.
    • Assists resellers with contract negotiations, closing the sale, and developing marketing plans for contract accounts.
    • Category SWOT analysis, IRI trends and develop new methods of attaining re-sellers.
    • Troubleshoots problems regarding procurement and shipment of products.
    • Responsible for meeting product profit thresholds by account.
    • Product-forecasting & coordination with the associated department.
    • Manage, Plan, and Budget Trade Shows.

    QUALIFICATIONS 

    EDUCATION 

    REQUIRED: 

    • Associates degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field 

    PREFERRED: 

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field 

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILL 

    REQUIRED: 

    • 3+ years of field sales experience required. 
    • Proficient in product demand forecasting
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Management Experience
    • Proficient in spoken and written English
    • Negotiation skills
    • Retail knowledge
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Pivot Tables etc.

    PREFERED: 

    • 5+ years of CPG sales experience in retail food, drug, and mass
    • Advance Retail Math
    • Bi-Lingual
    • Advanced training in current retail sales techniques
    • Persuasive selling


    WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

    Vision: Use vision to read, write, type, operate office, electronic, and manufacturing equipment, and make fine adjustments. 

    Speaking/Hearing: Give and receive information through speaking and hearing. 

    Motor Coordination: Requires hands to operate equipment. 

    Lift/Carry: Regularly lift, push, and move up to 50lbs.
