Job description

Shields Point LLC has a dynamic opportunity for a Site Lead (Lieutenant) in support of the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) Protective Services Contract. When the Site Supervisor (Captain) is absent, the Site Lead (Lieutenant) has full authority to act on all contract matters at the Mead Nevada WAPA site location. This role requires a leader with demonstrated law enforcement or security experience in managing Armed Security Force and is adept at interacting with government personnel and ensuring compliance with the contract statement of work.

Serves as Shields Point LLC Second in Command company representative at the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) Mead Nevada site location. Performs all duties as specified in accordance with requirements, post orders, and SOPS for their assigned security post. Exceptionally knowledgeable of all required duties and demonstrate the ability to act effectively during emergencies or other unusual situations.

Able to maintain all necessary Armed Guard requirements including training, firearms, permits, CPR, first aid certification, as required by the Performance Work Statement, local or state laws. Conducts tests of security systems, with written plans and SOPs and demonstrates the ability to update when required. Enforces contract requirements including not limited to scheduling, training, uniform and grooming standards, post orders and inspections, access control, visitor processing, screening, security checks, patrols, and emergency responses.

Prepares required daily, weekly, and monthly contract deliverables in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Assures the Armed Guards and Alarm Monitors are present, in proper uniform, briefed and prepared for duty. Ensures the Security Team maintains proper discipline, conduct, professional bearing, and demeanor.

Serves as the second point of contact with the (Prime Contractor) Program Manager, government representatives, SPLLC Security Team, contractors, customers, and visitors. Maintains accurate logs, post orders, records, supporting quality control inspections and contract compliance. Tracks employees' status of licenses, training, and certifications.

Assists with post certification, OJT as necessary. Responsible for armed security weapons procedures and storage requirements on federal property. Ensures responsive client-driven services through direct communication both internally and externally.

Ensures timely notifications to the PM and CO/COR, regarding security incidents, facilities management office and as required.U.S. Citizen Possess a high school diploma or GED certificate. Maintain and pass a National Security background suitability investigation

Successfully completes medical exams, physical abilities tests and drug screenings when required. Possess a minimum of four years' experience in security, military police, or law enforcement. Two years of security experience in field supervision (law enforcement, military, or Armed Guard services).

State Guard license required. Must fluently speak, read, and comprehend English. Possess good communications skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts.

Pay rate: $21.00 to $22.60 per hourU.S. Citizen Possess a high school diploma or GED certificate. Maintain and pass a National Security background suitability investigation
