Compensation: $100,000-$125,000/year salary depending on experience
What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Treasury and Cash Management
  • Full general ledger accountability for the WAG & Walser Preowned Sales channels; this includes:
  • Cash Management
  • Balance Sheet and associated schedules
  • Income Statement accuracy
  • Intercompany Eliminations
  • Conduct financial review meetings monthly with staff accountants to validate integrity of financial deliverables
  • Provide departmental support and reporting
  • Serve as subject matter expert on the accounting of all legal entities, as assigned
  • Responsible for producing GAAP financial statements monthly
  • Oversee budget, cost controls, financial analysis, accounting practices and reporting
  • Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems for financial controls and performance
  • Maintain communication with internal accounting leaders
  • Responsible for operational knowledge of the source transaction systems for dealership and affiliate accounting operations
  • Responsible for coordinating audit requests pertaining to their entity group-WAG, Walser Preowned Sales, and other corporate entities as assigned
  • Drive accounting operational efficiencies
  • Develop and achieve team OKRs (Objectives & Key Results)

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
  • At least 10 years of accounting experience
  • Thorough knowledge of general accounting, including the application of general accounting theory
  • Broad conceptual judgment, initiative, and ability to deal with complex accounting issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Dealership or Automotive experience highly preferred
