Job Title Full-Time Lecturer - Information Systems Division Divison of Academic Affairs Department Department of Information Science and Systems Job Effective Date 08/12/2026 Job End Date 05/28/2027 Work Status Full Time Position Category Contractual FLSA Exempt Pay Range Contractual Salary Range $75,000 - $92,000 / year Job Duties
The candidate will have shown expertise in areas of Information Systems (such as Data Visualization, Data Analytics, AI, ML). The candidate will participate in Department, School, and University committees. Teaching assignments will include courses in our Masters's program in Data Analytics and Visualization, doctoral and undergraduate courses in Data Visualization, Data Analytics, AI, ML, and depending on background and qualifications, may include courses in computer literacy, management information systems, computer networks, cybersecurity, systems analysis and design, project management, supply chain management, and enterprise information systems (SAP). Engagement in multidisciplinary work with faculty with very diverse backgrounds is anticipated. Faculty must maintain a regular minimum of 9 hours of office hours on campus.
Requested Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a graduate degree (doctorate preferred) in Information Systems, or related disciplines such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering . Prior work experiences that use related skills are desirable, though not necessary.
