Wall Panel Designer

Pay Range: $65,000โ€“$85,000 annually (based on experience)

Summary
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to translate construction plans into efficient, production-ready wall panel designs. Customer satisfaction, quality, and on-time delivery are critical to success in this role.

Purpose of Position
The Wall Panel Designer is responsible for designing wall panel systems using industry-standard software while coordinating with sales, production, and engineering teams. This role ensures wall panel designs are accurate, code-compliant, and optimized for efficient manufacturing and installation.

Essential Functions

  • Design wall panel layouts from architectural and structural plans
  • Prepare accurate panel drawings and production documentation
  • Ensure designs meet applicable building codes and project requirements
  • Coordinate with sales and production teams to ensure buildability
  • Optimize material usage for efficiency and cost control
  • Revise designs based on customer feedback or engineering requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation on a job-to-job basis
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners
  • Assist in troubleshooting design or production issues as they arise
