Warehouse Associate

Wood Dale, IL | Full-Time | Non-Exempt Salary: $20 - $24 / hour (based on experience)

We supply a broad catalog of laboratory chemicals and specialty compounds, with a focus on quality, reliability, and responsive service. At our Wood Dale warehouse, that commitment comes to life in a small, tight-knit team. Here, you won't be a number. People know your name and collaborate every day to keep operations safe, organized, and on time. Every contribution directly impacts product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do (Day to Day)

As a Warehouse Associate, you will serve a dual role as a chemical production operator and inventory clerk. Your work ensures every item is handled safely, accurately, and on time. Responsibilities include:

  • Receive, store, and pick chemicals accurately, maintaining 100% SKU-to-label integrity.
  • Perform weigh-ups and repackaging of chemical products according to SOPs.
  • Handled products according to SOPs to prevent loss or non-compliance.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE when handling chemicals.
  • Maintain organized, "ready-for-service" workstations and equipment.
  • Support cycle counts, audits, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and suggest practical improvements to leadership.
What You'll Bring
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in warehouse operations or chemical production preferred.
  • Ability to follow complex SOPs and handle chemicals safely.
  • Basic math skills for inventory counts, weigh-ups, and batch preparation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for an 8-hour shift, and use ladders safely.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or willingness to learn quickly.
