PeopleShare is currently seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator for a growing warehouse and distribution operation in Virginia Beach. This position plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, logistics coordination, and order processing while ensuring high levels of productivity, efficiency, and safety.
Responsibilities - Perform regular inventory audits and maintain accurate inventory records
- Track, investigate, and communicate inventory discrepancies to warehouse leadership
- Receive and process incoming orders and manufacturing orders within the ERP system
- Monitor order flow through warehouse dashboards and ensure timely picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process and assist with corrective actions
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders and shipments
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities
- Schedule and communicate with transportation providers to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
- Ensure compliance with shipping, receiving, and safety regulations
- Support internal audits and compliance initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and operational processes
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting within warehouse and ERP systems
- Associate degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years of warehouse administration experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience working with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and computer skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics and inventory control processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Inventory control and cycle counting
- Logistics coordination and transportation scheduling
- Order processing and shipment tracking
- Manufacturing or warehouse environments
- ERP systems and warehouse reporting tools
- Continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and carry up to 60 pounds as needed
