We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk to join our team. Job DescriptionResponsibilities
Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations, including answering phones and scheduling appointments using multi-line phone systems.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper handling of medical records.
Assist with insurance verification and medical billing processes, including CPT coding, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding.
Utilize EMR systems such as Open Dental, Vyne Trellis , or Rectangle Health for efficient patient management.
Perform clerical duties such as filing, typing, and data entry while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Collaborate with dental staff to prepare care plans and ensure effective communication regarding patient needs.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Review documentation for completeness and accuracy before submission to ensure compliance with clinic standards.

RequirementsEducation: High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
Dental office: 2 years (Required)
Dental Insurance: 1 year (Required)
Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting
Familiarity with medical terminology, dental terminology, and health information management is essential.
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and various EHR systems.
Strong typing skills with a minimum of 10 key typing proficiency.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.

Knowledge of medical coding practices (ICD coding) and experience with medical collections is a plus.
