Title: Vulnerability Management Administrator (14990)
Location: Orlando, FL (100% onsite) 32837
Type: Direct Hire Position
Rate: $85K + annual bonus + full benefits + full relocation
Full Job Description:
The Vulnerability Management Administrator will work on the Vulnerability Management team to assist with Windows Server amp; Client Operating System patching/configuration, application patching/configuration, and testing/troubleshooting required to implement the vulnerability mitigations. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation and ensuring technical processes are deployed in a sustainable and efficient manner. The individual should have a proven track record of being actively sought out by other team members for their technical advice.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Use Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (aka SCCM) and Group Policies (GPO) to deploy patches, updates, and configurations
-Document vulnerability mitigation (patch deployment amp; configuration) procedures
-Develops processes to increase efficiency and automate regular maintenance amp; support actions
-Testing and implementation of certain application security updates (Adobe Reader, Office)
-Testing and implementation of Windows Server/Client Operating System security updates
-Testing and implementation of Windows Server/Client security configurations such as disabling SSLv3, SMBv1, etc.
-Monitor application life cycles and update accordingly
-Review CVE's monthly, apply additional configurations and mitigations as needed
-Work with application teams to test and verify vulnerability mitigations prior to production deployments
-Ensure deployments are completed during appropriate times to meet business requirements (early morning/late night/some weekend deployments)
-Ensure vulnerability scans are functioning and accurate, troubleshoot and remediate where necessary
-Create Tenable Security Center dashboards and reports as necessary to communicate remediation status amp; information
-Troubleshoot SCCM clients, distribution points, and Windows Update on systems to ensure full functionality
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-7 years' experience with Windows Server/Client OS management amp; configuration
-5 years' experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/ECM)
-3 years' experience with PowerShell scripting
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server amp; Windows 10 operating system (installation, management, troubleshooting)
-Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (ECM/SCCM)
-Strong Knowledge of Active Directory/Group Policy administration
-Knowledge of core network infrastructure services, functions, and protocols
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
-Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field
OTHER KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
-Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently
-Ability to solve problems involving remote and elusive symptoms often spanning multiple environments in a business area
-Ability to be a team player; flexible, friendly, congenial and enthusiastic, willingness to do whatever it takes to complete assignments on time with quality
