Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Web Technology Manager with strong expertise in Vue.js to lead front-end application development and guide a small team of developers. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in architecting scalable web applications, hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, and the ability to establish robust application foundations from the ground up. This role requires a combination of technical leadership, hands-on development, and a passion for delivering secure, high-quality user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and provide technical direction to a small team of front-end developers.
  • Design and architect modern, scalable web applications from the ground up using Vue.js and related technologies.
  • Develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces while ensuring code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Drive the implementation of front-end best practices, coding standards, and reusable component architecture.
  • Monitor framework updates, security advisories, and dependency vulnerabilities, ensuring timely upgrades and compliance with modern development standards.
  • Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
  • Troubleshoot complex application issues and optimize application performance.
  • Ensure applications meet security, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility standards.
  • Contribute throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), following Agile methodologies and iterative development practices.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 6–8+ years of experience in front-end web application development.
  • Minimum 2+ years of strong hands-on experience building enterprise applications using Vue.js.
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring development teams in a technical capacity.
  • Strong expertise in designing application architecture and building scalable solutions using modern client-side frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), asynchronous programming, and modern language features.
  • Strong knowledge of Vue.js concepts including components, reactivity, lifecycle hooks, Virtual DOM, and state management.
  • Experience with the Vue.js ecosystem, including:
    • Vue CLI
    • Vue Router
    • Vuex or Pinia
    • Nuxt.js
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, and CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
  • Experience implementing Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and understanding its performance and SEO advantages.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Functional Programming principles.
  • Ability to write secure, optimized, reusable, and well-documented JavaScript code.
  • Experience with automated unit and integration testing using frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
  • Hands-on experience with modern development and build tools including Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn, and Git.
  • Strong experience integrating and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working independently while effectively managing priorities.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services.
  • Familiarity with Node.js for front-end tooling or server-side development.
