Job description

Role Name: Mainframe Network Engineer (L3)
Location: Remote, USA
Experience: L3 level support required
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Configure and administer IBM z/OS mainframe network software.
  • Configure and administer network-related 3rd party system software.
  • Provide technical support for Mainframe Networking issues during normal working hours and on-call out of hours.
  • Act as a Mainframe Networking resource for internal and external projects.
  • Monitor performance of mainframe networking components and initiate remedial action as needed.
  • Produce clear and accurate technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with local, regional, global, and regulatory policies, processes, and procedures.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for L3 network support.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, balancing support and project work.
  • Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
