Job description

Role Purpose

The Sr. Director of Supply Chain Solutions is responsible for designing, packaging, costing, and operationalizing the full portfolio of solutions the organization brings to market. This leader ensures the company offers scalable, modular, and turnkey supply chain solutions aligned with market demand, operational capability, and financial objectives.

This role serves as the central coordination point between Sales, Strategy, Operations, Finance, and Technology to ensure all solutions are executable, competitively priced, and aligned with the organizations growth strategy.


Key Responsibilities

Solution Portfolio Strategy & Development

  • Define and maintain the organizations portfolio of supply chain solutions, including turnkey, modular, and technology-enabled offerings.
  • Ensure solutions can be delivered as standalone services (e.g., SaaS/technology, reverse logistics, transportation) or integrated end-to-end platforms.
  • Align solution offerings with market demand, client pain points, and Total Addressable Market (TAM) opportunities.

Market & Client Needs Alignment

  • Partner with the CSO and Sales leadership to understand customer needs, emerging market trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Identify gaps in solution capabilities and lead development efforts to address them.
  • Ensure solution capabilities align with strategic sales priorities and growth initiatives.

RFP & Commercial Solution Leadership

  • Lead the formal RFP response process across functions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs to ensure timely, accurate, and competitive submissions.
  • Validate operational feasibility, service levels, and financial assumptions.

Costing & Pricing Coordination

  • Partner with Solutions Costing and Finance to ensure accurate cost models.
  • Collaborate with CSO, COO, and Finance leadership to establish pricing strategies.
  • Ensure pricing aligns with margin targets, competitive positioning, and client value.

Cross-Functional Solution Development

  • Work closely with Operations to validate real-world execution feasibility.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Product teams to ensure solutions align with system capabilities.
  • Ensure integration readiness for successful implementation.

Solution Standardization & Scalability

  • Develop standardized solution frameworks to improve speed-to-market and repeatability.
  • Establish design standards that improve scalability and operational efficiency.
