Position Summary:

As Vice President, you are responsible for developing strategic sales plans to support the division's growth by maximizing cross-sell and upsell opportunities; renewal retention while optimizing customer experience.

You ensure, through collaboration, teamwork and the selection and development of technically competent employees, strong client focus and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and collaborate with all levels of sales and service functions to ensure the best client experience possible
  • Work with the sales team to meet or exceed monthly production targets
  • Ensure all HUB Service guidelines are met and followed to deliver excellence in client care and experience.
  • Foster a positive, engaging work environment to attract and retain talent
  • Schedule regular meetings with team members to discuss production, sales strategy, CORE usage, and account receivable management
  • Work collaboratively with the other Commercial Lines leaders to ensure that procedures and workflows are followed
  • Participate in Critical Path meetings by working with Account Executive/Account Manager to provide value-added services for clients and to follow-up on action items
  • Run reports and assist with book of business/account transfers and coding changes
  • Promptly assign new business leads to Account Executives/Account Managers
  • Evaluate books of business and reassign accounts as needed
  • Manage carrier relationships, attend industry functions, and keep up to date on product/appetite changes
  • Ensure team's compliance with respect to licensing, account receivables, workflows and non-renewal processes
  • Work with other departments as needed: operations, claims, marketing, in-house
  • Provide feedback to VP, Commercial Operations with respect to staff's performance both informally and formally
  • Continue professional development and learning to enhance technical skills, soft skills and insurance knowledge
  • Provide oversight over the entire New Business and Renewal Process; and documentation with responsibility to protect HUB from E&O
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Minimum 5 years commercial insurance brokerage experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing and developing talent
  • Proven track record of fostering and maintaining strong client relationships at the management level
  • Industry designation preferred (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM)
  • Level 2 general insurance license

The expected salary range for this position is $135,000 to $175,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
