Your Role
As the VP, Corporate Systems, you will lead the strategy and transformation of technology capabilities across Finance, Investments, Legal, and Risk, with global delivery support in India and Mexico. You will be accountable for defining and executing a multi-year, business-driven technology roadmap aligned with Genworth's strategy, delivering scalable, resilient, and future-ready platforms.
As a senior technology and enterprise thought leader, you will partner closely with executive stakeholders, including the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Investments Officer, General Counsel, and Chief Risk Officer. To deliver modern, scalable platforms and drive business outcomes through data, analytics, and AI. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and execution. shaping long-term roadmaps while ensuring strong delivery and measurable impact.
What You Will Be Doing
Technology Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
  • Define and lead the Corporate Systems technology strategy and 3-5 year roadmap aligned to business value, speed, scalability, and resilience

  • Serve as an enterprise thought leader, translating business strategy into clear technology direction and outcomes

  • Drive investment prioritization, sequencing, and value realization across the portfolio, balancing transformation with operational excellence

  • Advance enterprise capabilities in data, analytics, automation, and AI in partnership with shared Data/AI functions

Finance Technology Transformation
  • Lead end-to-end Finance technology transformation across FP&A, Controllership, Tax, Treasury, Audit, and related functions

  • Define and execute the Finance modernization roadmap (ERP, EPM, data, AI)

  • Deliver automation, AI, and data capabilities that improve efficiency, controls, and decision-making, with measurable business outcomes

  • Establish target-state architectures that simplify and modernize the Finance ecosystem over time

Investments Technology Enablement
  • Partner with the Chief Investment Officer and Investments leadership to define and execute a multi-year technology roadmap aligned to business and portfolio management needs

  • Strengthen technology capabilities that support the trading desk, including highly visible, real-time operations where speed, accuracy, and system reliability are critical

  • Enable improved data accessibility, advanced analytics, and AI-driven insights to support investment decision-making and performance

  • Ensure Investments solutions are aligned to enterprise platforms while meeting the responsiveness and real-time demands of the business

Legal & Risk Technology Leadership
  • Lead technology strategy and delivery supporting Legal and Risk functions, ensuring platforms are secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards

  • Establish target-state architectures and modernization priorities across Legal & Risk domains

Enterprise Transformation & Delivery Discipline
  • Drive large-scale transformation programs including cloud adoption, application modernization, and process optimization

  • Establish strong governance, standards, and execution discipline to deliver outcomes on time and with clear value realization

  • Align closely with core operations (Run the Shop) to ensure stability, scalability, and operational excellence

Leadership & Stakeholder Partnership
  • Build and lead a high performing team, with aligned technology leaders across Finance, Investments and Enterprise Functions

  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes with clarity to senior leadership and governance forums

What You Bring
  • 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including senior roles

  • Deep expertise in Finance systems and architecture (ERP, EPM, analytics, AI) and proven track record leading large-scale transformation in Finance Technology

  • Experience supporting multiple enterprise functions, preferably to include Investments, or similar real-time, high-visibility environments.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud, data, and integration strategies

  • Experience with automation, AI/ML, and digital transformation initiatives Strategic thinker with ability to translate business objectives into technology roadmaps

  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing, globally distributed teams
