Job description

Global is a leader in the commercial roofing industry, recognized for its commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. As the Vice President of Roofing Sales, you will provide executive leadership to the commercial roofing sales organization, shaping and executing strategies across New Construction, Retrofit, Service, and other roofing-related business lines. This is a high-impact, on-site executive role reporting directly to the Roofing President, with responsibility for driving profitable revenue growth, expanding market share, and building a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, partnering with Operations, Estimating, Marketing, Finance, and Executive Leadership to align business development with operational excellence and long-term company growth.

Responsibilities
  • Provide executive leadership for all commercial roofing sales functions, including New Construction, Retrofit, Service, and strategic account development.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and expand the company’s geographic reach.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales organization, including Directors, Managers, and sales professionals.
  • Establish organizational priorities, performance expectations, and accountability across the sales team.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with owners, developers, property managers, general contractors, architects, consultants, and national accounts.
  • Participate in key pursuits, negotiations, and strategic customer initiatives to strengthen customer partnerships.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, revenue planning, profitability objectives, budgeting, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor organizational performance and implement strategies to improve revenue, gross margin, and overall business results.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Estimating, Service Leadership, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment between customer commitments and operational execution.
  • Champion standardized sales processes, CRM discipline, forecasting accuracy, pipeline management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide executive leadership with market intelligence, competitive analysis, sales forecasts, customer insights, and strategic recommendations.
  • Perform related duties as needed to support business operations within the scope of the role.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience will be considered.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in commercial roofing, construction sales, business development, or a related industry.
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience with responsibility for multiple business lines, markets, or regions.
  • Demonstrated success leading a commercial sales organization with significant revenue responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, service operations, estimating, project delivery, and construction financials.
  • Experience developing enterprise sales strategies, organizational structures, and go-to-market plans.
  • Proven ability to drive profitable growth, build high-performing teams, and develop sales leaders.
  • Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
