We are seeking a high-energy leader to oversee the DISH Commercial Business channel. The VP, DISH Commercial Business will report to the Executive Vice President, DISH TV.  As the leader of the DISH Business team, you will be responsible for generating account activations, revenue and loyalty utilizing DISH's unique programming and technology solutions within the hospitality, multi-dwelling unit, public-private, and other non-residential industries. For this position, it is critical to possess a combination of business strategy, business and partnership development, and analytical skills.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Achieve activation, revenue and churn goals by serving as the business owner for verticals including hotels, apartments, resorts, airlines and other commercial facilities. 
  • Develop and manage strategic business plans to drive customer acquisition and increase revenue and customer loyalty within each segment.
  • Manage vertical markets by developing pricing, programming packages, promotional offers and loyalty programs to maximize ROI.
  • Seek and execute business partnerships, including legal, marketing, and distribution.
  • Work closely with engineering and hardware suppliers to provide business requirements for future hardware needs.
  • Build and manage relationships across multiple internal and external clients at senior levels.
  • The scope of this position is national and requires strong analytical and leadership skills. This is a “hands-on” position.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred, plus 10 years of experience in large-scale sales and marketing with consistent growth and quota achievement. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • We're seeking a dynamic, high-energy, outgoing personality who is exceptional at analyzing a business, setting the strategy and engaging with cross-functional partners (Operations, Finance, etc.)
  • Seeks to take ownership, has a strong educational foundation, shows passion for the business, possesses a strong competitive nature, is persistent, and is an entrepreneurial thinker.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface and sell at all levels of management.
  • Proven track record of developing relationships with clients, co-workers, vendors and business partners.
  • Budget management/financial forecasting skills.
  • Ability to work independently of supervision and make decisions of wide variety and complexity.
  • Able to professionally perform sales presentations.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Industry and retail experience are strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
