Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Lead Refrigerated Sales and direct strategy related to customer accounts, trends, load volumes etc.

  • Oversee Refrigerated Sales ensuring appropriate staffing levels and operating within budget constraints.
  • Ensure assigned employees have career development plans.
  • Implement sales strategy, ensuring effective marketing of entire suite of services and providing proper guidance and support to team in order to achieve objectives.
  • Expand book of business within own area and assist with expansion of business for assigned direct reports.
  • Conduct in-person visits to attract prospective customers and generate sales leads.
  • Develop a strong customer pipeline through the cultivation of customer relationships and understanding the needs of prospective customers.
  • Provide market and customer information to RVP and EVP Sales, customer service and pricing as needed.
  • Ensure customer reviews and contract evaluations are completed in a timely manner.
  • Conduct in-person customer visits and calls as appropriate, while prioritizing and communicating customer commitments.
  • Maintain appropriate billing processes within customer accounts for assigned area of responsibility; assist in collecting receivables as necessary.
  • Provide reports, data and/or conduct analysis of sales activity and team performance as needed for designated leadership.
  • Review and approve expense reports for assigned team, ensuring adherence to budget requirements.
  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in sales and/or transportation industry required.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
  • Must possess outstanding communication skills.
  • Must be able to transfer knowledge to others.
  • Must be able to problem solve in high pressure situations.
  • Must be well organized and able to multi-task.
