Job description

Build your career leading high-impact initiatives at scale, partnering with product, technology, data, and design teams. You’ll help turn strategy into measurable delivery outcomes while improving how teams plan, govern, and execute.

As a Vice President, Program Management on the Pay Chase & Bill Pay team, you will lead delivery of high-impact initiatives across the portfolio, spanning customer-facing launches, strategic partnership enablement, and multi-year platform modernization to strengthen resiliency and reduce security risk.

Job responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream programs from initiation through launch and stabilization
  • Translate strategic intent into executable plans, clear milestones, and measurable outcomes
  • Align stakeholders on options, trade-offs, and decisions needed to drive value realization
  • Coordinate launch readiness across product, technology, data and analytics, design, operations, and control partners
  • Drive accountability across teams to maintain momentum and meet committed delivery dates
  • Lead security-first modernization and remediation efforts that improve resiliency and reduce vulnerability exposure
  • Establish and run program governance and operating cadence, including change control and decision logs
  • Deliver concise executive updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions required
  • Define success metrics and key performance indicators, build benefit cases, and report outcomes to senior leaders
  • Improve portfolio-level delivery predictability by scaling lightweight program management mechanisms and standards
  • Use data and analytics to increase transparency, prioritization quality, and delivery performance
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 8 years of experience in program management, technology delivery, strategy and operations, or management consulting with ownership of cross-functional outcomes
  • Experience delivering initiatives in financial services, payments, and/or technology
  • Proven ability to lead complex programs with multiple dependencies and senior stakeholder engagement
  • Strong executive communication skills, including clear narratives on trade-offs, risks, and recommended decisions
  • Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and influence in a matrixed environment
  • Strong risk-and-control mindset and ability to partner effectively with control functions
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, translating strategy into plans with measurable outcomes
  • Experience with Agile and Lean delivery practices
  • Proficiency with common delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence (or equivalent)
