Brandt Corporate Services Ltd is currently seeking a Sales manager – Material Handling for our Greater Montreal location.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations Material Handling, East Region, this position is responsible for sales growth and profitability of the wholegood, used equipment and rental departments.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
  • Achieve asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assets. Included but not limited to new and used wholegood inventory.
  • Establish sales budgets to maximize Gross Margin.
  • Provide for the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and market share goals.
  • Management and development of all employees in the Sales Department with the goal of building a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company, customers and employees.
  • Establish strong relationships/partnerships alongside the Sales team.
  • Manage and conduct scheduled team sales meetings.
  • Work with Marketing team to promote and aid in product and brand awareness.
  • Prepare technical and commercial presentations and proposals, and assist sales team to present to customers, ownership, purchasing, and/or operations departments.
  • Work with the Parts and Service teams within the branch to support customers.
  • Achieve market share goals as agreed for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company.
  • Provide feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures.
  • Assist in the management of Branch account receivables in conjunction with the VP of Credit and VP of Operations.
  • Plan and represent Brandt at industry trade shows, conventions, and trade organizations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
  • 7+ years’ direct work experience in sales management capacity.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
  • Confidence in decision making regarding financial transactions, sales strategy, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning.
  • Experience in the Material Handling industry considered an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field considered an asset.
  • Experienced with Microsoft tools such as Words, PowerPoint, Excel, etc…
  • Must be available to travel as required (up to 50% of the time).
