Position Summary:

The Director of Information Technology is a strategic and operational leader responsible for the overall management, vision, and execution of the organization's IT strategy. This role oversees IT Security, Software Development, Compliance, and Enterprise IT operations, ensuring that technology systems and processes effectively support business goals. The Director of IT provides leadership in innovation, risk management, digital transformation, and regulatory adherence while optimizing performance, scalability, and reliability across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Develop and execute the organization's long-term IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead IT governance processes, ensuring effective prioritization of technology investments.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing IT function across security, engineering, compliance, and operations.

IT Security

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and management of the organization's cybersecurity program.
  • Ensure continuous monitoring, incident response readiness, vulnerability management, and threat remediation.
  • Lead security awareness initiatives and promote a culture of secure computing.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS as applicable).

Software Development & Engineering

  • Direct software development efforts, including architecture, coding standards, DevOps, and release management.
  • Champion best practices in agile development, CI/CD, testing, and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience
