Major Responsibilities:

  • Participatesas a member of the Area's senior management team,participatesin the Area(s) leadership table, provides visionary leadership,holds service lineexpertiseand fostersa common vision for the NSL.Serve as an NSL representative for Division and Area(s) initiatives and programs such as access, teammate engagement, patient experience, and quality.Collaborate with NSL, Division and Area(s) leadership to vet and prioritize major program and clinical services initiatives, modelfinancial impactfor new business models before submission to enterprise governance.
  • LeadsArea(s)monthly operation performance reviewsat Area(s) leadership forums, monitorsbudgettoactuals, investigatesvariances, and recommendscorrective actions to NSL, Division and Area(s) leadership.Developsand implementsannual business plans, growth strategies, and operationalobjectivesthat support the Area's and NSL goals.
  • Oversees both ambulatory and inpatient services across the care continuum, ensuringhigh standardsof clinical quality, patient safety, and operational efficiency.Buildeffective teams, foster collaboration, and create an atmosphere of open communication.Influencesothers, gaining support, commitment, and action across the organization to achieve institutional goals andobjectives.
  • Supports institutional program planning for new facilities or programs as needed.Leadsintegration and optimization of NSL operations and best practices across the Area(s), including supporting merger, acquisition and new partnership activities as needed.Representsthe NSL in local and state forums, enhancing the brand and reputation of the service line.
  • Coordinates with physician co-leaders to advance clinical programs and innovation.Collaborates with independent physician practice groups andleadsnegotiation, management, and oversight of physician contracts to ensure alignment with NSL goals and organizational standards.
  • Directly managesadministrative service line leaders,including hiring, evaluations, development, and disciplinary proceduresin accordance withorganizational policies.Leads workforce strategy for the Area(s), including staffing and leadership development. Fosters a culture of engagement, accountability, and excellence among all teammates and physician partners. Ensurecompliancewith all organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and standards of behavior. Improves employee experience,maintainslow turnover rates, andpromotesprofessional development.
  • Collaborateson preparation of annual operating and capital budgets, review and endorse NSL budgets and reforecasts, and ensurelong-termplanning aligns with NSL goals andobjectives.
  • Identifiesvalue captureand efficiency opportunities across Area(s) sites of care, create measurement and monitoring methods and tools to track realization.Ensureseffective resource allocation, budget management, capital planning, and financial performance for all NSL services within the Area(s).Monitorsand improveskey financial, quality, and operational metrics; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Championsquality improvement and patient safety initiatives,leveragingdata and best practices to achieve superior outcomes. Enhance patient experience measures across all markets.Supportsthe development and implementation ofnew programsand services, responding to community needs and market dynamics.Promotescontinuous quality Improvement, focusing on error reduction, process improvement, and benchmarking for growth.Collaborateswith marketing and community relations to enhance access and awareness of NSL services.
  • Supportsthe academic mission byfacilitatingresearch, education, and innovation within the Area(s).Partnerswith clinical and academic leaders to ensure clinical operations appropriately support educational and research programs.Ensuresthe translation of discovery into the clinical environment, offering patients the most advanced care.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

Education Required:

  • Bachelor'sdegree in Healthcare Administration,Business Administration, PublicHealthor related field.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 10 years of healthcare administrative experience,includingat least5yearsofdemonstratedprogressivelyresponsible management experience overseeing clinical operations or service lines,required.
