YOUR IMPACT

OpenText is transforming enterprise software for an AI-first world, where agents, automation, and workflows increasingly drive business outcomes. We are seeking a Vice President, Product Management, Operations & Service Management (OSM) to lead product strategy, vision, and execution for our portfolio spanning ITOM, Observability, AIOps, Service Management, CMDB, Asset Management, Automation, and Agentic AI.

This executive leadership role will define the future of an AI-native OSM platform, evolving products such as SMAX from traditional applications into intelligent execution engines where AI agents, copilots, APIs, workflows, and people work together to automate and govern enterprise operations at scale.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:

  • Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for the OSM portfolio.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing product management organization.
  • Drive the transition from UI-centric products to API-, data-, workflow-, and AI-first platforms.
  • Define how humans, copilots, and autonomous agents interact across enterprise workflows.
  • Partner with Development, Architecture, Cloud Operations, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Client Success to deliver market-leading solutions.
  • Engage with strategic clients, analysts, and partners to shape product direction and competitive differentiation.
  • Influence pricing, packaging, monetization, and go-to-market strategies for AI-driven and consumption-based business models.
  • Establish strong product operating rhythms, governance, prioritization frameworks, and outcome-based success measures.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • 15+ years of product management experience in enterprise software, including SaaS and cloud platforms.
  • Proven VP-level leadership experience managing product leaders and large product portfolios.
  • Deep expertise in ITSM, ITOM, observability, AIOps, automation, workflow platforms, CMDB, asset management, or related enterprise technologies.
  • Strong understanding of AI-native product design, agentic AI, automation, APIs, workflow orchestration, governance, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing multi-year product strategies that drive growth, retention, modernization, and business impact.
  • Strong commercial acumen across pricing, packaging, monetization, adoption, and consumption-based models.
  • Outstanding executive communication, stakeholder management, and client engagement skills.
  • Ability to make clear, data-driven decisions in rapidly evolving markets.
