Job description

An established real estate and capital markets firm is seeking a Vice President in Capital Markets to join their growing Dallas office. This is a mid-level VP role focused on real estate debt, with primary responsibility across capital markets execution and trading-related activities.

Role Overview

The Vice President will play a key role in the structuring, execution, and management of securitizations and loan transactions. This position sits at the intersection of capital markets, investors, rating agencies, and legal counterparties, with a strong emphasis on bond structuring and transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support bond and securitization structuring for real estate debt transactions
  • Manage investor relationships, including marketing, execution, and ongoing engagement
  • Act as a primary point of contact with rating agencies throughout the transaction lifecycle
  • Coordinate legal structuring for securitizations and loan transactions, working closely with internal and external counsel
  • Support trading and capital markets execution activities
  • Contribute to other facets of the securitization process, including analytics, documentation, and post-closing support
Qualifications
  • Approximately 5+ years of experience in capital markets, structured finance, or real estate debt
  • Strong background in securitizations and bond structuring
  • Experience interacting with institutional investors, rating agencies, and legal teams
  • Solid understanding of structured products, loan documentation, and transaction mechanics
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, execution-oriented environment
