Job Description

We are seeking a Vice President to join our Governance and Education ("G+E") Practice to help expand the firm's efforts to ensure wealth has a positive impact. As part of AlTi's holistic impact offering, the G+E Practice focuses on the impact wealth has on one's identity, well-being, relationships, and family system.ย  The Vice President will be responsible for delivering governance and education services to clients and advisors and ย support implementation of the strategic objectives in this area for AlTi.ย  Core G+E services include:

  • Values and mission development
  • Meeting facilitation
  • Shared decision making and governance
  • Engagement and education
  • Purposeful giving

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the strategy and implementation of the G+E Practice including working directly with advisors and clients to deliver governance and education services
  • Develop and deliver client facing educational curriculum, activities and materials relevant to our core wealth management offering
  • Design and deliver educational topics including but not limited to values and goals, family dynamics, personal finance, investing fundamentals, business and leadership, and philanthropy and risk management
  • Expansion of AlTi's Philanthropic Service offering collaborating with Impact Investing colleagues around Total Portfolio Management
  • Design advisor training and facilitation guides
  • Creation of off-the-shelf meeting materials that can be tailored for client use
  • Support Advisor Teams by mentoring, educating, co-delivering or delivering core G+E services
  • Participate in sourcing and closing new business opportunities through networking, COI relationships, and engagement in prospect meetings
  • Leadership in peer network communities of multigenerational and rising generation clients
  • Promote practice internally and externally
  • Assist in internal and external communications for G+E updates as well as thought leadership contributions
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years working with UHNW families, understanding the complexity, opportunities, and challenges which arise with wealth
  • Knowledge and experience in financial, wealth management and philanthropic areas, ideally including previous experience in wealth management and/or philanthropic consulting
  • Collaborative and creative spirit, willing and able to brainstorm and enhance direction of practice
  • Creativity and expertise in content, activity, and resource design for the curriculum and resource repository
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong attention to detail and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to travel and work remotely as needed
  • Knowledge and experience in helping families and/or non-profits engage in purposeful philanthropy preferred
  • Trained in meeting facilitation preferred
  • Experience presenting to and serving UHNW clients preferred
  • Experience building strong trusted relationships with advisors and act as a resource, guide, mentor, coach, and client-facing specialist working directly with clients preferred
  • Engaged thought partner focused on the future of the field focusing on human capital, governance and education, philanthropy and individual/family flourishing preferred
Additional Information

We are open to applicants looking to work in our New York, NY, San Francisco, CA, or Seattle, WA office location.

With respect to positions in our New York or California Office, the expected base salary ranges from $115,000-$135,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, and education. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
