Job description

Job Description: Vice President, Go-to-Market and Omnichannel Strategy Position Summary

The Vice President, Go-to-Market and Omnichannel Strategy will define and lead the company’s integrated go-to-market/commercial approach as it prepares for a potential first commercial launch, pending regulatory approval, while building a scalable foundation for future growth. Reporting to the EVP, Global Marketing, this leader will shape how the company engages healthcare providers, patients, and other key stakeholders through coordinated, insight-driven initiatives across channels and functions. Initially operating as an individual contributor, the Vice President will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee external partners, and establish capabilities that may support the development of a dedicated team over time. This leader will translate business objectives, customer needs, and brand priorities into coordinated engagement strategies that guide marketing activation, customer experience design, content planning, field engagement, and omnichannel execution. The Vice President will focus on launch readiness, customer journey strategy, omnichannel planning, segmentation and personalization, measurement frameworks, and innovation. Execution and orchestration will reside within Commercial Operations and other operational teams, while this role sets the enterprise strategy, governance, and priorities that enable consistent, customer-centric engagement.

Success in This Role
  • Establish a clear and differentiated go-to-market strategy aligned with commercial launch objectives and long-term growth ambitions
  • Create an enterprise omnichannel strategy that delivers consistent, customer-centric engagement across all stakeholder touchpoints
  • Define customer engagement frameworks, journey strategies, segmentation approaches, and personalization priorities that guide cross-functional execution
  • Build strategic governance, planning processes, and measurement frameworks that align marketing investments with business objectives
  • Enable data-driven decision-making through actionable customer insights, performance analytics, and optimization strategies
  • Partner effectively with Commercial Operations and execution teams to ensure seamless activation of omnichannel engagement plans
  • Foster innovation through emerging technologies, AI-enabled engagement, and new customer engagement models
  • Establish a scalable strategic framework capable of supporting future products, indications, and global expansion
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and own the enterprise go-to-market and omnichannel marketing strategy for launch and future portfolio growth, translating brand objectives, customer insights, market dynamics, and business priorities into differentiated customer engagement strategies.
  • Define the customer engagement framework including customer journeys, segmentation, personalization, content strategy, channel strategy, and engagement principles that guide marketing activation across healthcare providers, patients, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic direction for launch readiness and customer engagement, ensuring go-to-market and omnichannel strategies support launch objectives, customer needs, and evolving market opportunities.
  • Advance measurement, innovation, and capability development through customer insights, analytics, AI-enabled solutions, and emerging engagement approaches, establishing scalable frameworks that support future launches and long-term growth.
  • Build and develop the Go-to-Market and Omnichannel Strategy capability by establishing and lead the GTM and Omnichannel strategy function, initially operating as a hand-on strategic leader.
  • Responsible for building the organizational capabilities, talent (external & when appropriate internal), and operating foundations required to support future growth and commercialization
Key Qualifications
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences
  • Deep expertise in commercial strategy, go-to-market planning, customer engagement, omnichannel marketing, or customer experience strategy
  • Demonstrated success developing enterprise omnichannel and go-to-market strategies in launch or high-growth environments
  • Strong understanding of customer journey design, segmentation, personalization, content strategy, channel planning, and analytics-driven marketing
  • Demonstrated success in high-growth, fast-paced biotechnology or specialty pharmaceutical environments, balancing strategy with execution amid evolving priorities
  • Proven ability to lead effectively through ambiguity, creating clarity, structure, and alignment in situations where processes, capabilities, resources, and commercial models are still being established
  • Experience in pre-commercial, launch-stage, or rapidly scaling organizations, with a track record of building capabilities and sustainable operating models
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and align complex organizations around a shared strategic vision
  • Experience partnering with commercial operations and I&A teams to drive execution of engagement strategies
  • Demonstrated success translating vision into executable plans while building new capabilities, processes, and cross-functional alignment in environments characterized by rapid growth and ambiguity
  • Highly adaptable and resilient leader able to adjust strategies in response to changing market conditions, competitive dynamics, organizational priorities, and business needs
  • Proven ability to make informed decisions with incomplete information, exercising sound judgment, managing risk, and maintaining momentum in a rapidly evolving business environment
  • Strong strategic agility, with the ability to shift between enterprise strategy, launch planning, and operational problem-solving as business needs require
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to simplify complex business challenges, influence senior leaders, and effectively engage stakeholders across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and allocate resources effectively while maintaining an enterprise perspective and delivering against critical business objectives
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action, continuous improvement, innovation, and problem-solving in situations with limited precedent or established best practices
  • Proven ability to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, agility, and customer-centricity while developing high-performing teams and future leaders

NAP has adopted an on-demand workplace philosophy. This remote role requires in-person attendance at the NAP office in the Philadelphia area based on business needs and work requirements rather than a set office schedule, with increased frequency during commercial launch planning and launch-related activities. Travel is required based on business needs, including attendance at internal meetings, key company and/or industry events.
