# Executive Vice President - Business Development## •### @RapidCityRushPosted on 4/29/2026•Full-time## Job Description# Executive Vice President - Business Development Rapid City Rush\*\*Position Overview \*\*The Executive Vice President - Business Development is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing fan and partner experiences, and overseeing key business operations for the Rapid City Rush. This position blends high-level sales strategy with hands-on execution, game day leadership, and cross-department management to ensure a first-class experience for fans, sponsors, and community partners. This role reports directly to the team President and works closely with internal departments, corporate partners, and third-party vendors.\*\*Revenue Generation & Sales \*\*- Lead all new business development efforts, including but not limited to corporate partnerships, community partnerships and revenue generating strategies - Manage renewal strategies for existing partners to ensure strong retention and long-term relationships. - Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline while meeting or exceeding revenue goals. - Represent the Rapid City Rush in the community to cultivate new business opportunities.\*\*Event Planning & Execution \*\*- Plan, organize, and execute 5th Line events- Plan and execute corporate parties, sponsor events, and private hospitality functions. - Coordinate logistics, staffing, and timelines to ensure events are executed smoothly.\*\*Giveaways & Promotions \*\*- Work with graphic and marketing teams to ensure branding and timelines are aligned. - Manage inventory, delivery schedules, and quality control for promotional items.\*\*Game Day Operations & Leadership \*\*- Manage the business side of the floor on game days. - Assist and support game day staff to ensure smooth execution and fan satisfaction. - Oversee game operations and in-arena execution.\*\*Staff Oversight & Collaboration \*\*- This role has direct oversight of Partner Fulfillment, Game Operations, Graphic Design, Social Media, Community Relations and Broadcasting staff.- This role will work closely with VP of Sales and collaborate on ticketing initiatives to drive revenue-This role will work closely with our ad agency to ensure proper placement and maximize ROAS - Provide leadership and accountability across all departments.\*\*Qualifications \*\*- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. - 5+ years of experience in sports business, sales, sponsorship, or event management. - Proven success in new business sales and renewals. - Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. - Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays during the season.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.LocationOn-sitePayPay not disclosed #J-18808-Ljbffr
