What you will do

If you would like to join an exciting and challenging position as a member of the Volvo Trucks North America West Sales Team, then this may be the position for you! We're looking for someone who can achieve sales commitments and directly manage relationships with current and prospective e-mobility customers.

This Is How You Could Make an Impact:
   Achieve corporate E-mobility sales goals. 
   Achieve regional sales targets. 
   Achieve market share growth targets. 
   Achieve conquest sales volume targets. 
   Track dealer's stock inventory levels to ensure they meet both the dealer's business plan as well as current market and product demands.
   Develop and present sales proposals to new prospects for current and expanded product lines based on identified product requirements within the region (e.g., new truck sales, rental, full-service lease, contract maintenance, etc.).
   Manage retail sales assistance process and sales tools to achieve successful attainment of assigned annual sales volume and price realization.
   Budget responsibility in conjunction with approved business plan.
   Develop strong support relationships with VFS Finance Representatives and understand and explain different financing.
   Ensure dealer's make effective use of all prospecting tools including market data and other relevant applications.
   Manage dealer market share development, volume, pricing and product mix including aiding in the forecasting new truck orders and deliveries (i.e. model mix, volume, and build timing) to ensure dealers meet operating standards assigned by the Company.
   Work with dealer principal, sales management, leasing management, and retail sales staff to increase sales and leasing penetration in dealer's assigned area through sales training, customer contact management, sales promotions and blitzes, customer events, leasing and demonstrators. 
   Develop and maintain long-term relationships between Volvo Trucks North America and assigned customers. 
   Serve as the primary VTNA representative for electromobility to specified customers, responding to requests for assistance in all areas of the Volvo "quote to delivery" process using the aid of the E-mobility Support Teams. Coordinate with other VTNA account managers as needed. 
   Oversee and coordinate Volvo's marketing initiatives to assigned customers. 
   Create new sales opportunities within municipal and vocational segments. 
   Engage appropriate dealers, District Managers, and internal Volvo Trucks resources to ensure appropriate cultivation, closure, and follow-up of transactions. 
   Secure and sustain support of VTNA dealerships to meet customer requirements. 
   Assist executive management with strategic and tactical input in overall direction as required. 

Who are you?

You hold a Bachelor's Degree in a related field with technical knowledge of e-mobility. You also bring 5 or more years of experience in sales and/or account management to our team. Having technical knowledge of electrical infrastructure would be a plus.

For this position, the base pay is set at $143,600.00 - $177,300.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
