EMS Volunteer
PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS A VOLUNTEER (UNPAID) POSITION THAT REQUIRES TDSHS CERTIFICATION
The Community Volunteer Fire Department is a response department that provides fire suppression, emergency medical services, and technical rescue response to an estimated population of 130,000 people within a geographic area of approximately 25 square miles. We are recruiting men and women who are dedicated to helping their fellow citizens. Community Volunteer Fire Department is one of the few places where you can use your EMS certification as a volunteer at a high-volume fire department. CVFD provides opportunities for Texas EMS Certified individuals to serve on our front-line fleet of ambulances.
Applications for EMS are accepted all year long. You will be contacted once positions become available.
Requirements:
  • At least 18 years old
  • TDSHS certification
  • Must be able to provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States
  • Pass a criminal background and drug screen
