Job description

We are seeking dynamic and dedicated individuals to serve as Volunteer Athletic Coaches for the upcoming season and beyond. Our school district is very thankful
for the volunteers who offer to share their knowledge and valuable time with our student-athletes. Successful candidates will be responsible for assissting in leading,
mentoring, and developing our student-athletes, while promoting a culture of sportsmanship, integrity, and excellence.
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the head coach and/or athletic director, volunteer coaches help instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills,
strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. 






 


Key Responsibilities:

 
  • Implement, interpret, and consistently enforce school system, state, and conference regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, school administration, and the broader community.
  • Attend practices and games, providing guidance, supervision.assistance, and safeguards for each player.
  • Ensure participant safety at school and during travel for games and events.
  • Promote respect for teammates, coaches, equipment, and school property.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Director.

expected to uphold thesame professional standards and responsibilities, except for compensation and benefits. The volunteer coach
must fully complete an application and pass a background check before volunteering.
