Job Summary and Qualifications

JOB TITLE – Centralized Onboarding Specialist – MSP Vendor

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Onboarding Specialist provides onboarding support by assisting recruiters, hiring managers and new employees with the onboarding process.

SUPERVISES – None

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

· Facilitates a seamless new hire on-boarding process for new and existing candidates

· Act as a key contact for all issues related to on-boarding and monitors progress, works with clinicians when needed to coordinate on-boarding efforts.  Also, includes interdepartmental communication with Administration, and credentialing to ensure a smooth hiring process for the new candidates

· Sending out new hire welcome packets containing required payroll forms, I-9s, benefits information, and other basic company information;

· Provides continual professional contact with the new hire on instruction for each onboarding requirement

· Coordinating and tracking pre-employment screening requirements such as background checks, drug screens;

· Act as a resource for new employee's general questions;

· Ensure all required onboarding paperwork is complete and filed

· Works closely with recruiting and credentialing department

· Manages electronic new hire Onboarding system.

· Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES – This position requires the following minimal requirements:

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel, Ability to execute tasks independently.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive data.

· Excellent organization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks in an environment with large volumes of data and paperwork.

· Significant attention to detail required.

· Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment..

· Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills with good vocabulary, good grammar and a passion for excellence in customer service

· Displays professionalism through sound judgment, initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail

· Metric focused

· Highly proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel

· Ability to appropriately prioritize tasks and provide detailed documentation/ follow ups (time management)

· Works effectively under stress

· Must have great time-management skills

· Must be self-motivated and comfortable working with deadlines

· Must be an effective communicator and flexible with constantly changing priorities

· Outstanding customer service skills

EDUCATION –High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required; College Degree or coursework preferred

EXPERIENCE – Prefer 1-2 years experience in recruiting environment

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE – None

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS –

· Exert up to 20 lbs force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs frequently

· Requires prolonged sitting and some bending, stooping, and stretching.

· Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.

· Requires the perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction; ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.

· Requires normal range of eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.

· Requires dexterity to type.
