Job description

Job Title: Warehouse AssociateJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Boise. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, balancing both warehouse responsibilities and driving duties once converted to a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling various tasks, including picking, packing, material handling, and eventually delivering materials to project sites.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities in the Shipping/Receiving Dock, including unloading and loading trucks.
  • Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Prepare items for shipment, including packaging and documentation for LTL shipments.
  • Route materials to staging or shipping areas as necessary.
  • Operate a forklift; certification is preferred.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other software for internal and external communication.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety policies.
  • Pay attention to detail and prioritize work efficiently.
  • Work on valve automation and assembly under the guidance of the warehouse supervisor.
Essential Skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a semi-consistent basis.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing needs.
  • Experience with warehouse operations, including inventory management and material handling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Forklift operation experience; certification is a plus.
  • Experience using RF scanners.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Work Environment

The work environment is a small warehouse located in Southeast Boise near the Micron campus. The warehouse operates Monday through Friday from 7 am to 4 pm, with some flexibility. Training will require presence onsite alongside the warehouse lead, typically starting at 6:30 am and ending at 3:30 pm. The facility is active with subcontractor interactions for quality inspections of tubing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, ID.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
