This role focuses on maintaining database-related processes, user access, reporting tools, and workflow functionality across internal platforms and digital resources. The ideal candidate combines strong technical troubleshooting skills with a service-minded approach, helping staff and volunteers use technology effectively while keeping system data accurate and secure.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to support requests tied to database-driven platforms, websites, mobile tools, and ministry applications, resolving issues in a timely and organized manner.
• Investigate complex system problems, identify root causes, and partner with technical stakeholders when deeper platform support is required.
• Administer user lifecycle activities such as onboarding, role changes, access updates, and separation tasks while maintaining appropriate permissions across systems.
• Keep staff and volunteer records current by reviewing account details, validating access levels, and preserving data accuracy within core platforms.
• Design, update, and manage workflows, forms, dashboards, and reports that improve operational visibility and support ministry programs.
• Provide system administration support for group management, care programs, class participation, and other ministry processes that rely on structured data and automation.
• Oversee application and submission processes for ministry initiatives, including status tracking, resubmissions, interviews, and related information collection.
• Support learning and content systems by maintaining class setup, enrollments, schedules, check-in structures, course materials, and online resource pages.
• Perform testing on registrations, payment paths, forms, and automated processes before release to ensure reliability and a smooth user experience.
• Create training materials and process documentation, then guide staff and volunteers in adopting tools and following established system procedures.• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in database administration, technology support, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting business or ministry systems, user access, or technical operations.
• Working knowledge of database administration concepts, including data structure management, reporting, and workflow-driven processes.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, MySQL, or comparable database technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, analyze system behavior, and implement effective solutions with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
• Experience creating documentation, delivering training, and managing multiple priorities in a service-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with Rock platform administration, learning management systems, content management tools, or similar operational platforms is preferred.
